More about the artist:

Born & raised in South Dakota. Have lived in CO for over 25 years. Most of my photographic focus is on the environment, social inequality and mental health. When I’m not hiking in nature with my camera, I’m taking care of homeless cats and writing poetry. These two images were taken the last time I was in SD to visit my dad. (He loved to fish and was a farmer). I chose the two locations to pay respects to his 98 year journey at the time. He is well on his way to 99 I’m happy to say! : )
