Lovleen Aulakh is an Austin based artist who creates unique mixed media paintings with acrylics, alcohol inks, 3D textures, gold & silver leaf gilding etc. Her meditative art themes range from abstract to spiritual. She owns ‘Inspired Art Studio’ where she experiments with various mediums & helps students of all ages discover their inner artist. She has always been fascinated by moon and has made several paintings inspired by it.

"This painting was made during May 15th Super Flower Blood Moon Total Lunar eclipse in 2022. I could feel its powerful effect and I am intrigued how it serendipitously got interpreted in my art. 'Chand' means moon in Hindi. This rose gold, silver & blue 'Chand' painting is part of 'Fakeeri' art series. The silver moon represents the divine light and the radiant female form represents our inner being or light within yearning to merge with it. Heavy texture on the dress compliments the spiraling brushstrokes around the moon representing dynamic cosmic energy."
